Kurt Winter, 58, is a South African entrepreneur, motivational speaker, and now author, based in Johannesburg. Born in Durban, Kurt is the founder of KitOnline, a successful business supplying custom sports apparel and merchandise. With over 35 years of entrepreneurial experience, he has built a reputation for resilience, innovation, and inspiring others through his journey.
In 2008, Kurt’s life changed forever when his sister Kerry Winter disappeared in Dubai under tragic circumstances. Her body was never found. Her ex-partner was later convicted and sentenced to 25 years in prison for her murder. In the years that followed, Kurt embarked on a relentless and deeply personal search for answers, confronting international bureaucracy, legal roadblocks, and the painful silence of two governments.
Kurt’s upcoming book, launching on 20 August 2025, the anniversary of Kerry’s disappearance, shares this harrowing journey.
